Stanmore Implants

One of our recent projects covered a wide range of the products and services that we offer. Our work was carried out for Insight Projects for Stanmore Implants- a new office and warehouse based in Hertfordshire.
Our works covered all carpentry & joinery works which included the supply and installation of 28 single doorsets and 30 double & hospital sized doorsets. The doors were either 30 minute or 60 minute fire doors finished in either Oak veneer or white laminate type with solid Oak lippings. Door linings were either softwood or hardwood depending on the fire rating required. All doors were supplied with relevant smoke & fire seals. Ironmongery was fitted to all doors. The doors had fire rated vision panels fitted where required. Architraves supplied and fitted were pencil round MDF.
Other works that we supplied and fitted were fire rated MF plasterboard ceilings to the underside of mezzanine floors. We also fitted various size metal faced access hatches throughout the site. London and Essex interiors also supplied and installed various circular ply formed column encasements.
Two hygienic rooms were clad by London and Essex Interiors using the Hi-Plas system.
Various flat pack supplied kitchenettes were installed by our carpenters on various floors.
900 linear metres of aluminium and laminated skirting were supplied and fitted throughout by us. Various other works to enable Insight Projects to deliver on time & budget were carried out by us at their request. The project ran to budget and time and we have since completed other projects for insight Projects.
London Ambulance Service

Works carried out for London Ambulance Service consisted of supply & installation of the Tenon Fire & Sound Partition Range. The partition was double glazed with pyrocet glass and integral blinds and blind controls were fitted. The partition divided the room into 2 workshop/lecture areas. Doors supplied and installed were American Oak doors with fire rated vision panels. The works were completed on time and budget with a zero snagging list.

Digital Copier Systems
A recent project that we are carrying out is for Digital Copier Systems (Southern) Ltd. Unit 34, Waterhouse Business Centre, Cromer Way, Chelmsford Essex CM1 2QE
Our works consist of the supply and installation of a Suspended grid ceiling with white 600x600mm tiles. Various glazed and solid partitions from the Tenon range complete with Ash veneer doors and skirting’s. We are also completing the carpet tile works and electrical works.
The electrical works consist of:
- Supply & installation of 16 cat 2 600x600 light modules
- Supply & installation of 7 cat 5 sockets
- Supply & installation of 7 double surface mounted galvanised sockets.
- The programme was very intense and we delivered on time and on budget.
LDA Design
London & Essex interiors have recently completed a project direct for LDA Design, 14-17 Wells Mews London W1T 3HF
Our works consisted of refurbishment to a comms/printing room. Our project involved demolition to the existing room. Supply and installation of new partitioning with Komfort white veneered double and single doorsets with Komfort ironmongery. We also carried out electrical installations of new wall mounted sockets and fans to cool a server unit and designer lighting. New ducting was supplied and installed. Complete new “pigeon” hole shelving was hand built and installed alongside new wall shelving units. Full decoration was carried out by us.
Current Successes
In May 2009 we have won a tender with Wandsworth Council to carry out as main contractors the required upgrade to numerous fire doors in Wandsworth Town Hall. This will consist of supply & installation of new fire doors, ironmongery and linings.

Unique air conditioned boutique offices
For this project we were sub contractors to Delta, Axe & Bottle Court, 70 Newcommen Street, London SE1 1 YT
Our package was for Carpentry, joinery & Ceilings & partition works. The building was a bare stripped out shell when we arrived on site.
We installed feature bulk heads & MF ceilings complete with inset Burgess suspended ceilings. The kitchenettes & washrooms received 600mm x 600mm Burgess Ceilings.
Beautiful ebony Macassar doors with architectural ironmongery were supplied & fitted into frames manufactured by our joinery division.
Kitchenettes supplied by Conran kitchens were expertly fitted by us.
Curved feature & glazed walls were constructed to give 14 Brooks mews a stunning reception & entrance area. We worked effortlessly to give Delta a trouble free & stunning complete fit out.
Pictures can be viewed on our website. After our success at 14 Brooks mews, Delta invited us to complete the fit out of their new Head Office. The result has been stunning. We are currently working on new projects with Delta.
Nando’s Chicken restaurants
Working for French Joinery as main contractor we have been involved in numerous fit outs for the Nando’s brand.
All the projects have involved some very complex & stunning ceiling designs, incorporating a blend of shapes & materials to create unique ceilings for each restaurant. The units that we have worked on are:

Essex Fire Department Kelvedon Essex
A current project of ours is the new Head Office for Essex Fire Department at Kelvedon in Essex. The main contractor is Duoscan of Cambridge with whom we have a proud association with going back many years.
Our package includes glazed and solid partitions to various floors. The main feature of our work is a stunning free standing solid & glazed partition to house 4 new meeting rooms. The walls are built with timber & a feature lighting bulk head surrounds the entire area. Double glazed partitioning finishes off the fronts of each room. Maple doors with 3 port hole vision panels finish the design in style.
We are currently working on 3 projects with Duoscan.
Hid new head office at Haverhill
We have the complete partitioning & ceilings & carpentry & joinery package on a large fit out for HID at Haverhill.
Suspended ceilings, solid & glazed partitioning are being fitted to 2 large floors & also to the warehouse area.
This is one of our largest projects to date.
Paint grade doors & MDF skirting are being fitted throughout. The partition is F&S by Tenon range.
